Hunting Hawk Winery at O'Keefe Ranch |

Former home winemaker Gregg Tippe and partner Ingrid Johnson (who got him started years ago by buying him a wine kit) purchased the Hunting Hawk name and one of the winery's two licences from Russ Niles in 2009. Tippe and Johnson are re-establishing the winery on a farm they purchased in 2008 not far from Salmon Arm. They have begun a vineyard here, planting maréchal foch, ortega and siegerrebe, propagating cuttings acquired from the nearby Larch Hills Winery. They also transplanted existing vines that Hunting Hawk had grown in a vineyard in the O'Keefe Ranch near Vernon.
