Vancouver business consultant and former Canadian Navy commander Spencer Massie and Dr. Bonnie Henry, his wife, have shared passions for wine and running. They have run both the Napa Marathon and the legendary Marathon du Médoc, which winds its way past the châteaux of Bordeaux, with wine tastings along the way.
Several years after retiring from the navy, Massie engaged several partners in creating a château of his own. The Clos du Soleil vineyard was planted in 2007 in the Similkameen Valley, with long-term plans for a winery and tasting room with French flair. The wines will always be made with Bordeaux varieties.
Winemaker Ann Sperling, a renowned veteran Canadian winemaker, was a high school classmate of Massie in Kelowna. The winery’s targeted maximum production is 3,500 cases.

We have only recently fallen in love with your wines.
In this Covid situation, will it be possible to purchase a case from you, select on line and pick up ourselves? We live in Summerland.
