Artisan Wine Company is a holding company encompassing Mission Hill owner Anthony von Mandl’s empire of winery brands (including Rigamarole and Fork in the Road). Prospect Winery is a brand en route to becoming a free-standing winery.
It was launched in mid-2007 by Mission Hill, but there is nothing on the labels to make the connection. Mission Hill’s strategy is to migrate some of its value-priced portfolio to this label. The Prospect wines, all under $20 except for icewine, overdeliver in quality. For now, the wines are all made at the Mission Hill winery, but the intent is to build a small Prospect winery near Oliver, where signage already appears.
Am working on a glass of your Okanagan Tawny. Onky have one bottle. Where can I buy more?
